Happy New Year! Hope your December holidays were well enjoyed!
Moving forward into 2024, as we continue our fundraising efforts (yes, we will have the grant, but we can also expand the park design as we receive in-kind donations) selling more pavers, hosting an art auction this coming year, these funds afford us the ability to do more AND have a wonderful community celebration for opening day!
WSI is busy working with Pillar Design to expand the park design, and getting the geotechnical study done so Pillar can finalize the plans. In the meantime - Pillar has the build scheduled for spring 2025 - Warwick DPW has plenty to accomplish in terms of site preparation. There are many diseased trees that will be cleared, along with prepping the site for building. All this gets done weather permitting! We must stay patient, it will be worth it!
