Pillar Design Studios has confirmed Spring of 2025 as the start time for the new Olympic ready Warwick Skatepark!! Location near the Albert Wisner Library is coming along with preparations going on, weather permitting, through this fall/winter. Diseased trees have been cleared and soil - lots of it - will be added to support the new concrete structure.
Fundraising will continue - purchase a paver or WSI t-shirts, become a bronze, silver, gold, or platinum sponsor/In Kind donator - as the cost of the park has risen considerable since we started (mostly due to Covid/post Covid supply issues) and the grant is being used to its maximum. We will probably need 'wiggle room' for other expenses and we certainly want to have an opening day community celebration, too!
