Warwick, NY, is a beautiful town with a vibrant skateboarding community. The Warwick Skatepark Initiative is a group of skateboarders and community members dedicated to building and maintaining a new skatepark in Warwick. To support the effort, a "Game of Skate" event was recently hosted at the local skatepark in Veterans Memorial Park.
A Game of Skate is a competition where skateboarders take turns performing tricks, and the winner is the last skater standing. It's a great way to showcase local talent and raise funds for a good cause. We enjoyed a great turnout from local skateboarders, received some kind donations from local businesses and even had our friends at Shred Co. put on a skate clinic.
The event was a huge success. The local skateboarding community came together to showcase their talent and support the Warwick Skatepark Initiative.
We look forward to hosting another game of skate in 2023 to help continue to bring the community together.
